The Corporate Ministry of the Community is one of prayer and hospitality, which is complimented by individual ministries of the Sisters:

Ministries in the diocese/local area

The Large Sitting Room

Small Guest Room

 

 

Visitors are allocated a room and are welcome to use the Chapel, Library and Gardens. Sitting room available for groups.

 

 

Costs: Suggested Donations

 

Individual Quiet Days £14.00 includes 2 course lunch with the Community, coffee / tea, use of room etc.

 

Groups for Quiet Days £9.00 per person. (Bring own picnic). Coffee / tea, Soup and fruit at lunch time provided - use of sitting room, Chapel, Library etc.

 

24 Hour stay £30.00 per person.

Bed and Breakfast £18.00

Lunch only £8.00

Supper only £4.00

 

Donations for other visits can be negotiated.

 

Facilities available for staff team meetings, P.C.C. or Parish away days, groups for quiet days. (maximum number 15)

 

We are able occassionally to accommodate larger groups for the diocese.

Visitors are welcome to join the Community for the weekday Eucharist and Daily Offices.

Daily Timetable:

Morning Prayer 7.30am

Breakfast 8.00am

Coffee 10.15am

Eucharist 12.30pm

or

Midday Prayer if there is not a Eucharist 12.40pm

Lunch (main meal of the day) 1.00pm

Tea 4.30pm

Evening Prayer 5.00pm

Supper (light meal) 6.30pm

Community Recreation Not on Saturday and Sunday 7.20pm

Compline 8.00pm

Except Saturday - said after supper

and Sunday said privately.

 

 

The Sisters offer hospitality for Quiet Days; time to read and reflect - or sleep!

 

Visitors are welcome to join the Community for worship and meals.

 

The aim is to allow a time of rest and refreshment.
