Spring Watch

Our much loved cat, Ripples, had to be put to sleep. She was 18 years old and was becoming increasingly ill so we felt it right to follow the advice of the Vet to have her put to sleep. We have missed her a great deal.

Lucy in the Garden

Christine and Margaret Angela visited Wythall Animal Sanctuary to look at kittens. We had already decided to have two as they would be company for one another, and it was then a question of choosing from about nine kittens that had been rescued.

We made the decision as a Community after seeing photos taken at the visit and we reserved a female tortoisehell and a black male. After an inspection by two people from the Sanctuary the kittens were eventually thought fit to be released on Advent Sunday!

A group of us went to collect them - they looked so frail, but thankfully have grown well over the last months and are fit, healthy and flourishing.

Lucy and Oscar are giving us, and most of our visitors, a great deal of pleasure.

Let their adventures begin!
